Assignment by VICE to capture the aesthetic of Western America's most eccentric and diversified city, per square mile at least. Having lived here for the past 4 years I've had the opportunity to see city grow at an undefinable rate. At the end of it all I came to the realization that nothing about this city changes, besides the people. Even the tourist that have come and gone through have only seen the things that every other tourist has seen. But what every other tourist has not seen is the people that currently live here. And that is the beautiful part about this 7x7 piece of slivering land. We come here to eat, to meet, to greet, to love, to sleep, to find shelter, to find love and to be loved. This is a city about accepting people and building a greater future.
